Shane’s spotlight: Mia Borders at the John “Papa” Gros Anniversary Show

After a phenomenal show at the Civic with B.B. King last week, funk/soul (there’s a musical combination you don’t see every day) singer-songwriter Mia Borders will perform another set at Tipitina’s this Saturday. She’ll be performing as part of the John “Papa” Gros Anniversary Show, which will also include Rob Mercurio(Galactic), Brian Stoltz( Funky Meters), Eric Bolivar( Anders Osborne), Jake Eckert (N.O. Suspects). Tickets are $15 in advance and at the door. The show starts at 10 PM/ doors open at 9 PM.
