New York native Alynda Lee Sagarra’ s local band, Hurray for the Riff Raff, has released a music video for their soulful, do-wop track, “St. Rock Blues.” The song, performed with brother band The Deslondes is a tribute to St. Roch, concerning the neighborhood’s series of 2011 murders. The video aesthetically grounds the tribute in the tragedy by splicing on-site recording footage with several other scenes throughout the St. Roch community. Watch the video below.
