Sunday marked the beginning of the 2019 Carnival season. In the French Quarter, the Krewe of Joan of Arc paraded to celebrate the ‘Maid of Orleans’ birthday. Unique throws, authentic story-telling and costumes made for a wildly entertaining spectacle.
