The charm of Miss Helen    1-19-14

Arriving for my visit

In my Christmas sweater

And my weekend hat,

Tilted at the right angle

For panache and purpose,

I hope to impress.

Helen looks up

Breaks into a smile

And exclaims,

“You look like a million bucks!”

Helen may have forgotten her dollars and cents

But not her P’s and Q’s.

She still remembers how to charm a man

And leave him feeling like a million bucks.
