Helen’s Sweet Essence   10//26/13 

As I roll Helen past the others,

The others in the Big Room,

She points and waves,

Nods and smiles,

And radiates sparks of loveliness …

Loveliness from what’s left behind

Of their lives and hers …

Helen holds not to resentment

Having lived a life of passion and faith

Reduced in time, by time,

To her own sweet essence.
