The poetic city: “Late one afternoon in Audubon Park   2/25/18”

Late one afternoon in Audubon Park   2/25/18

As I approach the end of my walk…

The puddles beside the path

become jewels.

The egrets circling above the

golf course offer a miracle.

The leaf fluttering beside me

is Shiva’s Dance

And I know I had found my way

home again.
