Bring Your Own is a nomadic storytelling series that takes place in living rooms, backyards and other intimate spaces within the community. Each month, seven storytellers have 7 minutes to respond to a theme. BYO airs on “All Things New Orleans” and is a biweekly podcast on WWNO.org.
Under the theme of “Pizza” Tina Antolini tells a story within a story that involves her father, pizza, some bats, and some very well-prepared bat protectors.
The next Bring Your Own is happening this Thursday, July 28 from 6:30 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. at Homer A Plessy school. The theme is “HEARD: Why the Young Feel Old,” which is part of the the “Unprisoned” series for Bring Your Own.
