Editor’s note: The Nth Power recently invited international photographer extraordinaire Marc Pagani into the studio to get a glimpse of the new heavy hitting power-funk quintet laying down the grooves for their debut full-length studio album (check out their 2013 EP Basic Minimum Skills Test). Local fans can check out The Nth Power at any one of their five shows around town during Jazz Fest and trust us: you won’t find a much funkier and more exciting musical force in town during the upcoming music marathon.
